A few things I'm a fan of today.

Miss Carey Mulligan and her pixie cuts. I wish I were brave enough to cut all my hair off.
I haven't seen anyone rock them as adorable as she does.

24. This show has been keeping me preoccupied lately. Season 8 is my favorite so far.
(I'm watching the seasons out of order. Just cause I can.)

 Hot chocolate and unhealthy treats.
This winter I've been going into hibernation mode and bulking up with comfort foods... ha.

    This valentine photo shoot. Adorable.

Snow days!! I'm still not tired of them.
(today was another one.)

Warm comfy beds. (who doesn't love them?)

Tomorrow I'm back to work again. Today was just a glitch in the weather.
Tomorrow snow is going to fall down on my love interest. (That way he won't feel so left out.)
Mr love man also got internet in his room...this means better skype dates! Hooray!
Now. Back to 24...

P.S.

I want to dye my hair bright again. I'm thinking a darker red with magenta highlights? A little change from my usual bright-orange-no-i-don't-look-like-haley-williams-shut-up. In honor of Valentines day and the Love month. And redvelvet cake on my birthday.

Maybe some of this....
And a little of this...
A bit like this?
My hair has been a bit orange like this.
(Yeah I didn't think it looked like "paramore" either..)
Or maybe I should just return to my roots?

I don't know. I can't decide.
I've also been wanting to get my nose pierced again. But I want to be a grown up.
I'm just having one of those indecisive days.
ha. xo

Hey. You're pretty. Just say'n.

I spent the entire evening on youtubing and googling songs. I feel like I could have done so much more with my time. Like watch TV. Or clean my room. But that's usually how evenings-off end up.

I don't really have anything to say today. I'm not even sure why I'm blogging. But my legs are falling asleep and I thought that it would be productive to let them stay that way. And I'm procrastinating cleaning up the mess that is surrounding me on the floor right now. So, here I am, talking about....really...nothing.

I skyped the love man today. I do love that man. Sometimes he drives me crazy. And sometimes I'm temperamental and moody to him. But in the end, I know he's the one I want to always love. Because there's something wonderful about forever. Someone to spend the everyday boring rituals with. Someone to pick up after and giggle at. Because I've heard that same story from him 3 times already but he continues to tell it. Because that's him. And I love him. And love includes that stuff. The sweet stuff. The ugly stuff. The annoying stuff. The funny stuff. The sad stuff. The life stuff. So yes. I'm happy to spend the stuff with him.

Onto other things...Online shopping is going to ruin me. I need to pull the plug on my debit card and use cash only. Because once I discovered the wonders of online shopping...I've had a hard time stopping. Shopping online is so pain free. You can shop and shop without getting tired feet (maybe your feet fall asleep 'cause you're sitting on them. But that's beside the point.) And it's not so painful to delete stuff from your cart. When you're shopping in real life, you carry around the things you  have decided you can't live without. So when you have to narrow down the must-haves...it's hard to put them down. You've formed a relationship with the piece because you've been holding it and looking at it, all while you look at other things.  Online, however, they sit in your cart. Unseen. When you've grown tired of looking at the certain shop... You go to your cart and realize...eh....I don't really need this. And if a couple days later, you realize that you really did need that item....you can just make a few clicks and there you go. Back into your cart and soon to be the reason for the absence of your money. Hooray! Anyway. No more online shopping. Saving, saving, saving. That was the plan. I forget so easily when the swimsuit is on sale or the rug may be the last one left. (Who needs a swimsuit in this blizzard anyway?! And do I really need to buy rugs for my someday house right now?)

Hope you're having a lovely night full of productive things.
If you're on youtube...maybe you should go clean up your room.
That's what I'm going to do.
kisses. xo

Denim shirts?

I thought I'd share a little post about my new favorite trend. I know it's been around for a while but I've become a bit of a fan. I went into Express the other day and the fashionable man that helped us was wearing denim on denim with a bow tie. Class.

I need to find one for my love interest. A. S. A. P.

Cabin Fever?

Snow day today. Snow day yesterday. And snow day tomorrow. I may never go back to work again!! Ha. But when I do go back to work, I have a feeling I'm going to hate it. Because this break is spoiling me.

Today I took Riley for a walk with my brother. (because RyRy is fat...)  Gave Riley a bath. (She was pretty stinky. And hadn't been washed since Mr. Love was home for Christmas....I'm the only one who gives her baths. ha.) Watched a lot of TV. Ate chili. (thanks Mom) Painted. Ate macaroni and cheese. (Thanks mom) Skyped the love of my life. And just chilled out. All this laziness is making me tired though. But I'm not complaining...not yet. ;)

The following photos are a few photographs of today's happenings:

Quality photo of the three of us. I know.

He's a multitasker.

Most of all my photos of Riley look like this. Thanks, girl.
Just calm down and look at the camera. Not that hard.

She was pretty excited that we let her walk all by herself.
(the leash was justincase.)

YEAH. Deep snow. She was quite a trooper. Especially for such a pansy. haha

He's a funny kid.

Really taking in the snow experience.

Trying to encourage Riley.

Riley after her bath.
She falls asleep like this all the time. I laugh every time.

Riley and I having quality tv time.
(Don't ask me why she lays like that.)

My painting for today. Dedicated to my love interest.

Hope your day was twice as exciting as mine. Triple, even.
Keep your toes warm!

Blizzards produce...

So in attempts at not being lazy today, I tried to be creative. The following pictures are the product of the decision. I still feel pretty lazy...And it looks like tomorrow will be a snow day as well! Maybe I'll brave the weather and play outside...

My floor currently looks like this...a mess.

I picked up some records from the Salvation Army the other day.
Today I painted over the covers and stuck them on the wall inside a large frame.

I have a wall with maps on it, which is what is in the background.

I've been working on this flower painting for the last couple of days.
I am usually bad at painting little details...I don't have enough patience. Which is why most of my paintings are large with big designs. For some reason I took the time to add all kinds of little details to this one. I'm still not finished. I'm planning on painting over the flowers with some kind of text....not sure what it will say yet...

As you can see, the snow has stopped falling...for now.
And yes. That is the street out there. It's up to my knees.

My dad and brothers thought they'd try and go for a spin. This is as far as they got. But at least the truck is now semi-cleaned off... ;)

Hope you're staying warm, wherever you are.
xo

P.S. I need to start using my Canon again instead of cheap digitals and my iphone....ha.

Snow Day.

Blizzard.

Yes.

You heard me right.

We're having a blizzard in T-Town.  13 inches out on the street in front of my house. And it's still snowing. Rumors say it won't stop snowing until 10pm. And it's been snowing/sleeting since 11pm last night....

It's going to be a long lazy day.

I hope my brothers will brave the snow with me later today. Just for fun.
Stay cozy!
